Val earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she graduated cum laude.

Tena is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor for the state of North Dakota. Tena specializes in mental health issues faced by members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and individuals in alternative lifestyles.

Vianna Schermerhorn

Vianna's work in human services has primarily involved crisis intervention, patient/client advocacy, reproductive healthcare, and serving survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Faye Seidler

Faye has spent the last six years working to develop resources for LGBTQ+ individuals within North Dakota.

Mental Health Case Manager
Megan is a devoted advocate for all human rights and has been an ally to the LGBTQA+, from a young age. She values moral courage and provides a safe, accepting space for everyone that walks through her door.

Michaela
Clinical Practice Lead
BSN, RN
Michaela is a Registered Nurse who graduated from NDSU with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minor in psychology. She has worked as a nurse in women's health and occupational health. She is also a certified Cross Fit trainer.

Front Desk Coordinator
Angie graduated with a BA in Sociology & Women's Studies. Her work in human services has involved patient/client advocacy, elder care and reproductive healthcare.

Savannah
LPN
Savannah has worked in healthcare since 2009, first as a Certified Medical Assistant and now as an LPN. She has experience in family medicine, elder care, endocrinology, and LGBTQ+ care. Her life experiences have made her passionate about caring for others, especially those who are often ostracized by traditional systems.

​Jay (he/him) is a Peer Navigator at Canopy Medical Clinic since January 2024. In this role, Jay works one-on-one with individuals and shares his personal experiences living with HIV.

Taj (he/him) is new to North Dakota, but known to the world. Taj believes we can all live freely, even amongst different cultural barriers and manage to have a life of achievements.
