Matthew is a Peer Navigator with Canopy Medical Clinic who believes healing happens through connection, trust, and showing up consistently for others. Drawing from his own lived experience of incarceration and recovery, Matthew supports individuals navigating reentry, healthcare, and life transitions both inside institutions and throughout the broader community. Over the past year, he has been deeply engaged in recovery-focused and reentry-centered work, helping people access care, build stability, and rediscover a sense of purpose. Matthew is passionate about meeting people where they are and walking alongside them without judgment. Outside of his work, he’s a proud dog dad who finds grounding and joy in community, creativity, and meaningful connection.
