  • What is the Birth Control Blitz?
    In partnership with the Prairie Action Abortion Fund, Canopy Medical Clinic is hosting a free birth control event during the month of February. The Birth Control Blitz provides birth control visits, 1 year of birth control, STI/HIV testing and routine vaccinations to all individuals at no cost.
  • Will birth control really be FREE?
    Yes! If you have insurance, any costs not covered by insurance will be paid for by Canopy Medical Clinic and the Prairie Abortion Fund. This includes the cost of your doctor's visit, STI testing and the cost of birth control for 1 year. If you don't have insurance, Canopy Medical Clinic and the Prairie Abortion Fund will cover the cost of your care. This includes the cost of your doctor's visit, STI testing and the cost of birth control for 1 year.
  • What kind of birth control can I get?
    The type of birth control prescribed by your provider is based on your health history, your reproductive goals, and the type of birth control that will fit into your life. Birth control available for no cost during the Birth Control Blitz include: Pills Patches Rings Depo Shot Nexplanon Internal and External Condoms Plan B Diaphragm Canopy Medical Clinic will provide you with 3 months worth of your birth control before you leave your visit (No need to pick it up at the pharmacy!!) When you need more, let us know and we will get your next 3 month's worth of birth control ready for you to pick up at our Fargo office.
  • What other services are offered during the Birth Control Blitz?
    During your appointment, you will also be offered STI/HIV testing and routine vaccinations. Canopy Medical Clinic and the Prairie Abortion Fund will cover the cost of these services.
  • Can I make an appointment if I don't live in Fargo?
    Yes! Canopy Medical Clinic offers Telehealth services for folks living in North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota. After making an appointment, you will receive an email/text with a link to join a video appointment with your provider. Canopy Medical Clinic will mail you your prescription at no cost to you. We will mail you refills every 3 months. For Telehealth appointments, birth control that we can mail include: Pills Patches Internal and External Condoms Plan B
  • How do I request an appointment?
    To request an appointment, use the links below to find a time that works for you. After we confirm your appointment time, you will receive an email/text confirming your appointment. You will also receive an email/text with forms to electronically fill out before your appointment. These forms will ask you questions about your medical history, demographics and insurance information (if using insurance). You will also receive a form with Canopy Medical Clinic's Privacy and Clinic Policies. 2-3 days before your appointment, you will receive a text reminder with your appointment date and time.
