Athena Sfeir,
Ryan White Program Manager

Athena earned their bachelor’s degree in developmental psychology with a minor in biology from Claremont McKenna College in southern California. After college, they spent time living, working, teaching, and volunteering abroad on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus as a Fulbright Fellow. Upon returning to the United States, Athena began working in the fields of early childhood education, as well as health and disability rights for marginalized populations. They are fervent community organizer, an unwavering advocate, and a dedicated health educator. Athena's journey through the non-profit health sector has been marked by a relentless commitment to uplifting marginalized voices, particularly within the LGBTQIA2S+ and disabled communities.

              

 Outside of work, Athena enjoys reading, playing board games, binge-watching their favorite television shows, digital and film photography, and spending time in nature with their pup, Este.
