Heidi Selzler-Echola, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC
​
​
Heidi is a board certified Women's and Gender Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota. She graduated from North Dakota State University with Bachelor's in Nursing and Anthropology, with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She attended the University of Cincinnati to obtain her Master's in Advanced Practice Registered Nursing.
​Heidi has spent most of her nursing career working in women's reproductive health, but has also worked in family practice, long-term care, a transgender hormone clinic and in-patient psychiatric care. Her passions involve reproductive justice, public health and addressing gaps in access to care.

Valerie Erickson, DNP, CNP,
​FNP-BC
Val is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from North Dakota State University with her Doctorate's Degree in Nursing. She is currently licensed in North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota. 

Val provides telehealth services at Canopy. She can provide these services to ND, SD and MN residents. She offers early morning and some weekend hours.

Kara Glow, LMSW


​Kara earned her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from Tulane University and graduated with a certificate in Mental Health, Addiction and Family. She is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota. Kara is a LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapist with experience working with adults, children, families, and groups who are met with a wide variety of barriers to living their most authentic lives, including anxiety, depression, trauma, etc. She has worked in both outpatient and residential settings.

​Kara believes the individual holds the key to their own healing and approaches the therapeutic relationship as one of partnership and collaboration. Kara recognizes each person is unique, and therefore uses a client-centered approach to customize treatment, using each person's individual strengths, to help them navigate their way to fully integrated a wholehearted life.
In addition to Kara’s therapeutic training, she has extensive community building, advocacy, and project management experience. Prior to social work, Kara served as a foster parent to three beautiful children, who are the motivation behind her MSW. She holds a B.A. in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Minnesota. Kara enjoys spending time with family & friends, community organizing, and dreams of becoming the type of person who can sustain plant life.

Faye, LBGTQ Care Coordinator

​Faye Seidler is a community organizer, queer cultural competency trainer, and award winning activist. She currently works on statewide issues as Co-Chair for the North Dakota Queer Health Advisory Board known as "BeYou". She has spent the last six years working to develop resources for LGBTQ+ individuals within North Dakota and serves Canopy Medical Clinic as the LGBTQ+ Care Coordinator. 
 
As a queer and transgender woman, she understands the unique issues facing queer individuals as they pursue healthcare. She specializes in resources for transgender individuals to find support groups, ability to change legal name, or other concerns that can come up as part of transition. While life for queer individuals can have many challenges, if she doesn't have answers for you, she will find someone who does.

Michaela, RN, BSN


​Michaela is a Registered Nurse who graduated from NDSU with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minor in psychology. She has worked as a nurse in women's health and occupational health. She is also currently a certified Cross Fit trainer.
Michaela is passionate about helping make sure all individuals have access to quality healthcare.
